Foil Leaves and Acetate

Hello my friends.

I hope you are having a good day.

Here's another card for our CAS Mix Up Challenge.
My mixed media are stamping, acetate, tissue paper, foil, alcohol ink and die cuts

Susan is hosting this challenge and it's open until the 24th.

Our Design Team and Guest Designer, Cathy, have some awesome cards to inspire you.

This time I used alcohol ink to add color to the back of a piece of acetate.

After it dried, I added some crinkled tissue paper to the back with clear glue.

Since there was some gold mixative with the alcohol ink, I thought
some foil leaves would look good with it.

The copper leaf had some tape on the back when I cut it to keep those
little pieces from running off.

The sentiment doesn't show up as well as I would like, but
I didn't want to risk ruining the whole piece so I left it as is.

This will be good for one of the guys in the family.

I'm going to share this with
Where it's ANYTHING GOES as long as there's stamping on it.

Edited to add that I'm also adding this to the

Thanks for the visit and special thanks for your comments.

Enjoy!

This is so lovely, Bonnie. All the green/amber tones combined the your striking die cuts make a beautiful arrangement.
Your sparkly elements would make it the perfect candidate for the Sparkle with Us challenge I'm hosting with the Foiled Fox ;-)

What a beautiful AI background for the gorgeous foil leaves. Love the way you kept all the little bits inside one of the leaves. The whole card has a wonderful earthy look because of the colour scheme and the theme of the leaves - and even though sparkly with the foil, would still be a great masculine card. Thanks for making such a fabulous card for my turn at hosting the challenge!

Just gorgeous against that beautiful background. Those leaves are so pretty in the metallic colors. I think your sentiment looks fine, it's subtle, and just right. It allows the leaf arrangement to be the star. Also like the stitched frame that showcases the card! TFS

I am in love with this card dear friend. That AI acetate is a stunner, along with those foiled leaves which is a brilliant finish. Using vanilla card stock makes this card even more precious, another item I MUST buy ;-) It gives such an elegance that's very special. Stunning! xx
